Yet I force myself to sit through my daily travels of Peacock Journal online. Bill Lantry finds the greatest poets who take me far away from the uncomfortable furniture to the most interesting places in the universe. Every day! Often when I finish my daily journey I wonder why some smart publisher doesn't put this in book form so I can enjoy Peacock Journal in my living room, on a road trip, on my desert hikes. I am pleased to say I wonder no longer. My copy arrived today, and I am already immersed in "a taste of clouds, a song of blue altitude" (Michael T. Young). A wonderful book of poetry and fiction. Little Red Tree is so proud to be publishing this inaugural edition for the Peacock Journal, Kate and Bill Lantry.
This was amazing from cover to cover and I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves poetry and fiction.
It is a beautiful thing indeed to delve into this anthology of gorgeous fiction and poetry, a compilation of the wonderful writing that has been appearing in the online Peacock Journal for a year and a half. This relatively new online literary magazine is already highly admired and widely read, and this anthology does not disappoint. Every story and poem is absorbing in its craftsmanship and evocation of beauty. The motto "Beauty First" is reflected in every page.
